Why can't LSU basketball ever get a proven winner to coach, like Coach K, or Thad Motta, or Tom Izzo, or Calipari, or even Kelvin Sampson? I had not even heard of Johnny Jones before he started coaching at LSU (as a coach, I vaguely remember him as a Tiger player).

All we need to do is cover the Assembly Center floor with asphalt and put up some chain nets and we'll never lose again.

We won't make the NCAA. JJONES needs to be fired this year. He is a good recruiter but pitiful coach.

I didnt see the game. How'd it go? LSU have a lead late, lose it, then fold in OT?

Got destroyed on boards, Houston controlled most of game, we had a small lead but really we were lucky to send it to OT in end. Simmons fouled out with minutes on the clock in regulation.

Hornsby had a career night though...

They tipped off. We sucked. It went to OT. We sucked worse. The end.

CJJ can kick rocks. There is literally no excuse for the shite show we have had to watch this year. Leave his arse in Houston.

Simmons is SOFT. IMO, not worth a #1 draft pick.
Blakeny will be lucky to play in the NBA. period.
Johnny Jones can't coach worth a shite.
Quarterman and Hornsby are the only ones who play with a passion and/or fire.

We have 0 rim protection. No one bothers to rebound. And I don't know if our defense doesn't care to defend the perimeter or our scheme just doesn't intend to defend the perimeter.

I like how we run a full court press for most of the early games in the season. Then when we have UH on their toes in the 4th at home, we just forget to run it this game. You know because they had superior ball handlers and athleticism. sigh.

I was at the game. Sat next to a bunch of UH alumni ballplayers. Saw Mitch Kupcheck there. Was 6 rows up from the court. I'm fricking disgusted with this team tonight. Except for Hornsby. Man what a shitshow performance......again.

Haven't read the prior 40 pages, but the officiating today was horrible. Really, it was horrible. We were bad on the boards in part because they called fouls on a big men for looking in the direction of a UH player. It's not like the were doing the same for us. I'm really disgusted with how badly we go home-towned.

Simmons needs to shoot more. You can tell he'll be great, but the guy looks to pass first. I can see why he might play that roll on an NBA team, but on this team, he needs to be taking way more of our shots.

The officiating was such home cooking. Called it very tight on LSU and very loose on UH. Chicken got away with 3 more fouls that 5. He was fouled out long before they called it.

3 of Simmons fouls were a joke and they even called an out of bounds that was not out. All the charges were in favor of UH and none got called on Houston.

Turrible!

We are way over rated. Simmons is not that good. We need someone to play defense.
