The leak to Rabalais had to be one of 2 people (or their surrogate)...1) the only person that benefited from the public firestorm, or 2) his agent, George Bass

Regardless the Governor needs to replace several of this Board Members particularly Ann Duplessis and Blake Chatelain.

I can't tell if that was sarcasm or you're just too dumb to realize the BOS of a university has a lot more to do than worry about their football coach.

My guess is it was an Alleva proxy, maybe an underling or a staffer delivering the message to Miles for the AD through the media
No way Rabalais runs with the story from an unnamed source without some serious collaboration and assurances it was legit
It then blew up in Alleva's face when the national narrative portrayed Miles as a victim.
the LSU Admin then became worried about being portrayed as "mean spirited" and the required money to make a change escalated to an unmanageable figure
So Alexander squashed it

Alexander should have squashed it days before the A&M. It is terrible that no public statement was given before the end of the game...that is, unless talks with Jimbo were hot well into Friday/Saturday.
