So I guess Cameron may stay. He's recruiting qbs still and I have not heard word about him losing his job in some time. It would be a mistake to keep him I believe.

No changes. Business as usual. Les is now king of LSU with nobody to hold him accountable

I do not understand why people want him gone!! Yes our offense sucks. Yes our scheme sucks. Yes our game plans suck. But what does any of that have to do with Cam???

Imagine Alleva will do nothing, let Miles have what he wants, and then sit back and wait for everything implode again.

There is no indication anywhere that Miles was given any type of pressure to make changes at all.
Quite the contrary, Miles was given support from the governor and president of the university in a crazy last minute, very public way, which means Miles is now the second most powerful man in Louisiana.
The only change is coming or what Miles might actually want to do. Take that to the bank. Miles owns LSU football now.

I pulled for Les to stay. It's his call if he wants to keep Cam but I hope he understand's he's playing with fire. Hope Cam doesn't turn into Les' Lou Tepper.

I think he'll be let go after the bowl game. I wouldn't read much into him and Peveto visiting recruits. They're still on the staff, it's still their job, but for at least one of them I don't think it will be in a month or so.

So, you are thinking 8 or 9 wins a season for the next 5 or 6 seasons?

the big dilemma is the new contract. why pay him 1.5 million? besides, some of the folks who have to approve a new K obviously don't like miles, have just had to swallow hard on the recent fiasco, and it's a good opportunity to stick it to him by not rehiring his buddy.
miles will go to bat for him. so the struggle will be interesting.
Here's a good question. can cam keep working at his old salary without a contract?
dilemma - if you don't give in you have to hire somebody after march 31. who you gonna get?

Nothing will happen until after signing day if indeed something does happen at all.

Isn't signing day after his contract expires?

very true, but miles will let Cameron go. there is a TON of behind the scenes things going on with Cameron. he will not be coaching 2016 at lsu.

I’m not answering any of those questions,” Miles said. “I want to look at statistics and do studies and I’m going to make quality decisions. I can tell you this: Thank goodness we had him tonight.”
However, he said staff changes would be “a natural contemplation” even if he stopped short of making any definitive statements.
“When you have change, there is staff change,” Miles said. “But sometimes there isn’t.”

After running this though a translation program and defragmenting it multiple times, the statements are shortened and, in English, mean "I ain't changing nuttin honey".

Honestly I don't believe in micromanaging a head coaches' staff. If you're not going to fire Les, then let him do what he wants. It's his job that's on the line. if he wants to keep Cam then that's his call IMO.
