Tey won't be. I 100% guarantee it. It's not even debatable. Promotions are awarded on a point system. Part of that point system is the physical fitness test. Currently there are different tests for males and females. So there are already different standards. But assuming that the military decides that men and women in say, the infantry, are all required to meet the same requirements and pass the same physical fitness tests, women will always be at the bottom of those scores. Even the most physically fit women. So they will be non competitive for promotion to higher ranks. Then you will see all the dumbass progressives asking why the military won't promote females at the same rates they do males. The answer of course is that they aren't as good as the males. They are literally the worst candidates for promotion. So the progressives will then say that physical fitness is overrated in today's modern age of warfare, which anyone with an IQ above 43 knows is complete bullshite, and there will be quotas for promotions based on gender. I guarantee you this will happen.

Yeah you are right but was just stating all the additional stuff that must be done to get in an elite unit. Just passing an "Leadership" course doesn't slot you in a Elite unit.

Standards for combat roles should not be gender specific. You can pass the one standard or you can't.

It's not about being PC. It's about allowing someone to have the same opportunities to serve our country as those of other races, religions, and gender.
If an individual has the desire to pick up a rifle and defend our nation from its enemies, I will gratefully oblige provided they meet the same standards as all our other servicemembers

You've seen fat senior enlisted/officers in the infantry? No, you haven't, because they would never be promoted that if they weren't physically fit. Physical fitness is the lost visible form of leadership. If I'm a 18 year old soldier and I'm expected to do 70 pushups to pass the PT test but my female peers are only required to do 30 or so, there's going to be resentment. And I'm certainly not going to respect a female officer who NCO who tells me I need to be stronger in order to get promoted while I watch her do half of what I gave to do.

The tests are supposed to be discriminatory. Equality of Opportunity DOES NOT mean Equality of Result.
If you want to serve our country and you can't pass the physical tests then do your part at home. We are all in this together, for better or worse.

I can agree with this...
Yes, I have seen fat servicemembers. My first division officer was a 300lb former offensive lineman for the Naval Academy. Dude could barely fit down the GD hatch. He was brilliantly smart and made it to O-4 before getting out.

Well no servicemember should be allowed to get fat, regardless of branch or MOS. Bit the reason that there has always been separate physical fitness standards for women is 1. women simply cannot pass the male standards and 2. There was never a reason to pass the male standards because they were never expected to be in jobs that actually required a high level of physical fitness to do. It's one thing to have different standards for men and women when they are administrative clerks or work on airplanes or swab the deck on submarine but it's quite another when your main job description is literally- be in good enough shape to carry a bunch if heavy shite around and carry wounded soldiers and fight the enemy with your bare hands if need be.

frick off - were you ever in ground combat with women around?
It is not remotely close to the same thing as integrating. This will be bad for the combat arms. Anyone with a brain who has been in them knows this.
