Yeah it was a bad pass

Patterson had the reach back and to the ground to snag it. Certainly don't blame him

You actually would prefer us inbound the ball than have simmons just drive the lane and make a play? Good luck with that.

Absolutely.

Team showed some great effort coming back late.. Really wish Simmons would have taken it to the whole.. Still like where this team is heading even with the set back tonight

IUPUI - Marquette's only win this season was against IUPUI. So much for our RPI, it just took a beating.

ypical Jones choke job. Out rebounded and missed free throws

We shot nearly 70% while Marquette finished 14-24. If Marquette hits their FTs it wouldn't have been close.

I feel like I may be in the minority but, I'm not too upset by this loss. With Victor and Hornsby both back I think things will be much smoother.

Blakaney and Patterson can't shoot like that and LSU win.

Yea, and it's not like they were terrible, did some good things

This team is good but they'll have their moments. I see a midweek conference loss or three or four

Ben is so damn good; shame how the game ended will be the talking point but he's gotta attack that second time

Why are LSU fans such insufferable fruits.
This team played it's arse off and came up short.
You didn't need a timeout. You just needed Simmons to win it. He will learn.
We are majorly in need for Victor to be good.
But give Marquette credit, they played a really good game and hit shots. That version of Marquette was a decent team.

The 10-0 hole start killed LSU. How do you come out that flat in NYC?

Young team, we will grow from this. Gonna learn how to close out games.

Gonna be ok.
. Yep we are a young team, but johnny jones is not that young. He's been around the block a few times. Will he ever learn? I'm not at all surprised. Jones is going to find a way to squander all this talent he's accumulated. Sound familiar?

tough loss but LSU played a terrible game. the defense was non-existent and the offense was a bunch of 1 on 1. tough loss but its early.

They're in a major conference, like 90% chance there RPI is greater than 100.

This was probably our worst overall game of the season, and we still almost won. Not worried.

When's our next game? We don't play the loser of Arizona St. and NC St. do we?

I know we threw up wayyyy too many unnecessary 3's the last 10 minutes with half off them being off balanced
