This was probably our worst overall game of the season, and we still almost won. Not worried.

Worst game against the only opponent played with a pulse.

The 10-0 hole start killed LSU. How do you come out that flat in NYC?

Start 3 Freshmen in their first ever road game.

We should have played one of our early games on the road to get the road jitters out.

I'd like to see Ben put more effort at the beginning of the game... Kind of set the tempo a bit more....not saying nothing bad about it.... Would just like to see him with the ball in his hands on offense in the 1st half.... ... They will learn from this... It's all good....

LSU played like pure garbage for 35 min and almost won. I wouldn't be worried especially without their starting 2 and 5 in Hornsby and Victor

I watched the last 2:40 of the game, and watched LSU leave the winning points on the free-throw line while the other team nailed them, and then miss two opportunities to set up a play by timeouts by relying solely on talent and low-percentage opportunities. I've seen enough.

I'm sick of watching shitty coaching of LSU talent in both football and basketball. Sick of it.

Yep, a lot of people need to take into account we're missing 2 of our better players right now. Both will be starting in a matter of a a couple weeks.

One of the first things I said in the pre-game thread was Marquette's bigs will destroy us, and that's what happened tonight. We have no answer for any team that plays 2 legit bigs until Victor gets eligible.

Our freshmen looked like freshmen and y'all are flipping out. There are going to be games like this. Quicker y'all all get over it the better it will be.

It's super early. Y'all have no idea how good Marquette will be by the end of the season.

I agree with no timeout there. I trust Simmons to create something more than I trust JJ to draw up a good play.

In hindsight the TO seems like it should have been called, but at the time I didn't think it was a huge deal. We had a lot of the momentum and had them on their heels for the last minute or so.

Simmons got an open look but passed it up. I'm not sure you're going to draw up a play that gets him more open than he already was. Can't blame Patterson for that last shot given the pass and time remaining.

"I am still shocked a TO wasn't called"

I was frustrated, but certainly not SHOCKED, as this is certainly not unusual for this staff.

We played horribly and almost won against a power conference team. Relax guys.

That's probably the worst game Blakeney has in P&G.

..swung it to the open man it was the right decision.... Although they should of drew up a play for him on a TO

The "open man" was 30 feet from the hoop.

And it's "should have," not "should of." My biggest pet peeve.

The coach can't call a timeout during a live ball anymore, it has to be a player. That may have had something to do with it.

They lost to Belmont and almost lost to Iowa by 30 points. they are not a good team, but like I said, we will struggle against any team with 2 legit bigs.
