It’s early yet, relatively speaking, and as can be expected, no one is eager to go on the record regarding Miles’ future at this point. But 25 years of covering LSU, cultivating a variety of knowledgeable sources, have led this writer to believe that there is a serious threat to Miles’ tenure here.

In a way he's right, in a way he's wrong. Miles could probably still lose the next two games and keep his job, if LSU was competitive in both games. But if LSU suffers a huge blow out in both, Miles is probably gone.

Do you know why this is ridiculous?

Because he should be gone regardless of the next two weeks

Sounds about right.

People who think this is about the last two losses are not seeing it for what it really is. Its a culmination of years of just unprepared/awkward style of football.

Not true, LSU would be the laughing stock of the college football world firing a coach with Les record.

I hope we win out, but if not, I'm not against making the move as long as we make a really good hire like Florida did with McElwain. Football has changed, and perhaps with new leadership, we'll be able to move on from the pain of 1/9/12
