But in the span of just two Saturdays, with two humbling losses to Alabama and Arkansas, the ice has thinned under Miles’ feet to the point where strong indications are that he will be coaching for his very job at Ole Miss on Saturday and the week after that against Texas A&M.

He is just trying to get clicks. Les will have next year at the least.

It’s early yet, relatively speaking, and as can be expected, no one is eager to go on the record regarding Miles’ future at this point. But 25 years of covering LSU, cultivating a variety of knowledgeable sources, have led this writer to believe that there is a serious threat to Miles’ tenure here.

This is completely 100% false.

Hopefully he coaches like his job is on the line, unlike the shite I payed to watch the past 2 weeks.

Y'all called BS when kleinpeter said Chavis was gone last year.

In a way he's right, in a way he's wrong. Miles could probably still lose the next two games and keep his job, if LSU was competitive in both games. But if LSU suffers a huge blow out in both, Miles is probably gone.

He's a hack working for a hack paper.

FWIW.....this was told to les at the beginning of the year...four sec losses and we will need to make a move.

Do you know why this is ridiculous?
Because he should be gone regardless of the next two weeks

Sounds about right.
People who think this is about the last two losses are not seeing it for what it really is. Its a culmination of years of just unprepared/awkward style of football.

Where do they come up with this shite?

Not true, LSU would be the laughing stock of the college football world firing a coach with Les record.

I hope we win out, but if not, I'm not against making the move as long as we make a really good hire like Florida did with McElwain. Football has changed, and perhaps with new leadership, we'll be able to move on from the pain of 1/9/12
