Agreed, Central came to West Monroe ready to play. I don't believe JJ27 is comparing Central to Ponchatoula.
Side note, if I recall didn't Central knock Ponchatoula out of the playoffs two years in a row around 2012?

everyone has West Monroe as either #1 or #2 in the state... saying they should dominate until the semifinals in a watered down bracket isn't exactly a stretch

WM has done good against Hank Tierney teams.
That 1997 5A state championship game against Shaw was a nail biter.

Your a damn idiot. In no way shape or form did I say anything remotely close to what you claim. All I said was that last season despite losing to Acadiana I still believe Ponchatoula had the best team. Most knowledgeable people think that match up with Ponchy and Acadiana was the 5A championship even though it took place in the 2nd round. No way is Ponchatoula the new West Monroe, hell I am just hoping that we are in it halftime and keep it respectable. Ponchatoula doesn't have the talent money or resources that WM does, but last season we would have given them everything they wanted and more.

Was Acadiana in 4-A last year or something? Because if you watched the game, which I know you did, then I would have a hard time believing that you really thought Ponchatoula was better. Acadiana punted the ball one time lol. This year, hell yes you guys were better. But after holding Zachary, Destrehan, and Ponchatoula to 37 points total in the playoffs last year its clear to me who the best team was at the end of the year. Those teams were averaging 40+ points a game. Ponchatoula was the 2nd best team IMHO.
