It was a moment where I had to check that I wasn't on the Disney Channel watching a made for TV version.

Then name it "The Three Musketeers Kick Back" or something similar so I don't think it's anything like the book.

Abar, The First Black Superman. I woke up at 2 this morning and saw it on and had to watch it until 4. It was every bit as good as I hoped.

There's a podcast with that exact title with two guys from The League: Paul Scheer (Andre), Jason Mantzoukas (Rafi), and June Diane Raphael (Paul's wife and played the evil Nurse character on the show). Besides picking apart the movies, they do go into the actual making of the movie and any crazy stories that came about from filming or production.

Jem and the holograms recently I didn't watch it but remember thinking. Are they really making a movie based on a midly popular cartoon that's had zero revelance in twenty plus years.

Attack of the killer tomatoes. I mean how in the hell do you sell that premise to a studio exec

the most recent fantastic 4 .

the studio who owns the rights has to make a new movie every so often or they lose the rights

it had a relatively big budget (around $120M) but that was just to take a chance that they could build a franchise out of it. it's a very small budget for a modern superhero movie (which are hitting that $300M+ mark)

i am wondering how many more flops they're allowed to make before their name loses the ability to make original, big budget, and/or high concept movies

Got home from Baton Rouge this morning and put Jupiter Ascending on because it had been sitting in the DVR list since early October. Couldn't even make it 25 minutes.

I was at the LSU game, I watched the Saints, but Jupiter Ascending was the most God awful painful to watch junk I've tried to watch this weekend.
