No politically correct way to say this but I think we overkill on the whole treating all our service men and women like the greatest people on earth. Many of them are probably complete assholes just like the rest of society. In fact, I bet many in the service think it gets overplayed too.
We get it, you protect us, thanks again.

I see what you are saying, but there is a certain "they carried our fricking water" aspect that should be respected in general.

Their the reason we are not speaking chinese, German, or middle eastern... They fight and die for our freedom.. Yes whether they are A-holes or not they still deserve the respect and attention.

they are men and women Just like the rest of us. Still should be appreciative of their service. Even if they are assholes.

That is true. Society does not pay attention to the issues related to DoD and VA that need to be looked at. Most of it is because society doesn't know, and that's just how the DoD and VA like it.

Way overblown. In fact every time someone Thanks me for my service I cringe. I joined for 2 reasons. #1 to pay for college and #2 to fight and engage enemies in direct combat. Did both don't need your fake praise. Most of the time when you are Tha king someone for their service they either never deployed or did deploy and wasted oxygen the entire time doing nothing useful for the Warfight spending the majority of their time at USO waffle breakfasts and shite.

You're a bleeding heart liberal. You love Hilary Clinton, espouse global warming being the fault of humanity, bitch about our dropping the atomic bomb, and you hate the military. It's what you do.
P.S. you've done this military hatred thread before. You probably can't keep it straight in your head because you start 10 threads a day. You might want to mark this one off your liberal bleeding heart masturbation list for at least a month.

6,717 American soldiers killed in the Iraq war 2001-2014. Do you have the balls to get shipped out to the Middle East and have bombs and bullets flying at you? They have my respect.
