How are those PE degrees working out 'bout now?
About as well as law degrees did for several years. You really want to go down that road when law is just coming back from having shite prospects?

Not at all. I hate that the oil bidness is down so low. The point is that professions get hot at different times. One is really not markedly superior to another.

Well, you went with the subtle route in making that point

Weird how both Loyola and Tha Yard had more applicants than LSU. LSU used to graduate around 200+ each year. I wonder if they have tightened down class sizes?

LSU Class of 2011 had about 226 students in 2008. They graduated around 176.

It's fricking party time.

Sucks that all your friends think you failed.
But congrats. The only test I ever failed was the MPRE. I don't do ethics good, and I don't give a shite about when a judge must/may recuse.

I was in the "Need More Information" category.
Reg, LISTEN TO ME. YOU NEED TO STAY ON TOP OF THEM OR THEY WILL DRAG THEIR FEET GETTING YOU ADMITTED.

I have preemptively texted everyone I know to prevent this from happening.

Bar exam grader here. I grade La Civ Pro. That section was not particularly hard this year. I probably shitcanned no more than 5 people.
And yes, the market is still oversaturated. I get resumes every week from last year's graduates who are looking for work. You can find a job if you are at the top of your class. Otherwise you must be willing to work for peanuts and have little in the way of future advancement. If you look at it as a temporary stop where you can gain some experience, you will have a good mindset.
I will talk any young person out of law school, anywhere, anytime. If you need me, just let me know.

I won't be shocked if the number is below 100 in a few years.

Cheers to everyone who passed. My buddy from Loyola passed.
Btw, what's up with the list system in LA? It's super fricked up that you can figure out who didn't pass

I did everything they asked of me. I sent them everything, via certified mail. They signed for it. I received the receipt.
I kid you not, months passed. Lost out on two jobs. Some jerkoff, I won't name his name, said I couldn't be admitted because I didn't comply. My envelope was still on his desk completely unopened (his secretary admitted this to me).
I had called them every week too. I was finally admitted with the people who passed the February Bar exam. I was pretty furious.
