They also give your mom the BBC.

Scariest part is that they charged her with felony assault on a police officer, and without the video, it would've stuck. They can ruin your life in a fricking second.
I only saw part of the video, so you saw the whole video which indicates she did not commit assault on the cop? Please give us a link.

I'm thinking there's more to the story than your thread title would lead me to believe.
Well considering she was originally charged with felony battery of a police officer until the DA got to watch the entire video and dropped all charges, I'd say it's a pretty safe bet she didn't do anything to justify what happened to her that day.

People see a white woman getting beat AND there's kids involved? Two triggers in one.

Probably had weed in the car.

From the link in the OP.....
quote:
In July this year, the San Diego District Attorney dropped felony charges against Hahn for battery on a police officer and resisting arrest – which her attorney Mark Geragos says was due to the video.
Like I said above, had the woman done anything that called for her being thrown to the ground, beaten, and cuffed, I'm quite certain the DA wouldn't have dropped all the charges against her.

There is more to this stopry that what we are being led to belivbe.
1. Why is she on the ground in the first place?
2. Why are there 2 cop cars flying to the scene with their lights and sirens on?
Something tells me she got confrontational with the officer that pulled her over, which looks like he's a Motorcycle cop...and he was trying to restrain her and being the big girl that she is, he needed back up.

I don't need a video because the DA dropped the fricking charges on her and charged the 2 cops with perjury for making up the story. Good thing the video was available, or she'd be so screwed.

The cop was pissed that she called in a complaint about him. This was retribution.

Or the DA used common sense and realized that the video only showed her on the ground resisting, and that's what the jury/judge would see so she dismissed the charges.
DA's don't always choose which cases to pursue on if laws were actually broken.

Riiiiight. I'm sure the only thing she did wrong was forget her seatbelt. . .
Wait, so was she pulled over or has that not been proven yet? People overuse "allegedly."

She really dindu nuffin...good thing the video is there or these a-hole cops would be free and she would be in jail. If a cop did my wife like that jail would be the least of their worries.

I'm sure she was a model citizen in the time that transpired between these two events.

Ok, now explain why he then went on to charge the cops with perjury?

Well at least her two kids got to watch what happens when you disrespect the badge.
Hopefully the message will get through to the younger generation that police are not to be questioned, disrespected, or disobeyed. Cross the line, and you get a couple of haymakers to the face, mom's aren't exempt.
She's lucky she didn't end up with bullet holes and a very extended ambulance trip.

Yeah...hopefully they now understand the importance of education so they don't wind up being some femme with an inferiority complex who has to resort to blasting some woman in the face because they can't handle their business.
