Well, we we're supposed to be going to Charleston in advance on the USCe game...

Well it'll be sunny and warm all week here after tomorrow.

Never been so happy to live in an apartment. Parts of Columbia are getting really bad. And it's only going to get worse throughout the day

Is anyone else humming the sinking theme from Titanic when they are looking at these pictures?

No one got a picture of the dolphins swimming by the mans storefront?
I am up the coast from you. Bouts of rain, some lite flooding; Charleston got hammered for some reason.

Can you go up a few more to Carolina Beach/Oak Island?
Calabash got hammered badly.

Keep us updated. Especially in Columbia area please. LSU fans coming to town will definitely know a thing or two about floods and will probably be more willing to help because of that

There's flooding everywhere. Dams are falling/topped everywhere. Every major metro area in the midlands (Columbia, Sumter, Orangeburg, Lexington, Manning) all are getting some form of flooding. Concerns about the Zoo along the Congaree River. I-20, I-26, 95 are all closed in some areas. I've literally never seen the Broad River as high as it is.
And with the Lake Murray Dam opening up, it will get worse.
There's a couple missing firefighters in Richland County too.

Spoke to my grandma in Charleston this morning, and she said it has been raining for 11 days straight

One was just found alive.
Claredon County is mostly water (about 1.5 hours SE of Columbia). Curfew in effect there

Broad River is scary close to the bridge.
This is truly a once in a lifetime thing for Columbia. It is amazing. They are opening the spillway on Lake Murray for the first time since 1969.
