When was the last time they brewed this? I haven't seen a keg since 2013.
I heard that Abita was making changes to the recipe and renaming (Bad Mother Shucker) it in preparation for bomber release, but that was last year some time. Haven't heard anything since.

Think it's supposed to be November.

1. Parish Grand Reserve
2. Parish Ghost In The Machine
3. Great Raft Grace & Grit
4. Parish Imperial Reserve
5. Gnarly Barley Peanut Butter Korova
6. Great Raft At Arm's Length
7. Tin Roof Smiling Ivan
8. Great Raft All My Tomorrows
9. Bayou Teche Miel Sauvage
10. Gnarly Barley Porter Rican
11. Abita Bourbon Street Stout
12. Parish Dr. Hoptagon
13. Tin Roof Rougarou
14. Bayou Teche Syrup In The Sky
15. NOLA Irish Channel Stout
16. Tin Roof Parade Ground Porter
Don't feel like I can give the NOLA sours a fair ranking, would need to try them all again.
And I'm sure I'm missing several good ones as well.

Parish South Coast is my new go to beer. I think it should be in there somewhere.

1. GOAT
2. Great Raft All My Tomorrows
3. NOLA Piety
4. Great Raft At Arms Length
5. NOLA Prytania Porter
6. Great Raft Grace and Grit
7. Great Raft BBA Old Mad Joy
8. Parish Grand Reserve
9. NOLA Arabella
10. Gnarly Barley Korova Porter
11. Great Raft Commotion (new recipe, obviously) [if double dry hopped it's a top-5 candidate]
12. Parish Imperial Reserve
13. Abita Macchiato
14. NOLA Lowerline
15. Parish Dr. Hoptagon (I'm arbitrarily knocking this one because Parish QC is OOC)
16. Abita Bourbon Street Imperial Stout
I could be talked into moving probably anything out of my top-3 anywhere because it's all pretty close. I tried to stick to stuff that's bottled, or if not bottled at least widely distributed, which is why no Courtyard stuff made it. If I included Courtyard brews they'd probably have 3 or 4 spots. I also reserve the right to change my mind about that and go back and edit.

Do you like any of Parish brews?

No love for a Red River product on any of these lists? Assume its because they havent made their way to South LA? Ive had their Louisiana Hay Ryed and thought it was really good. I see they are expanding. Good to hear.

Id love to see them can it.

I would buy it. Only had it once at the brewery during Gooner Gras. The ABV was a nice kick in the arse after 3 pints in an hour.

Did you seriously just compare hfs beers to nola?
Thats like comparing university highs football team and lsus.
Only comparing the 2 because It's the only dry hopped Brett pale ales I've had in the last 2 months. I'm not saying NOLA should give up the program, just giving my honest opinion of the 2. I'm sorry that offends some.
I would think constructive criticism was helpful. I said it tasted like the rough draft of HF Dorothy. I would think that would be taken as a compliment, not negatively. It's their 1st iteration and they didn't do terrible. I didn't really care for it, hard to place but something tasted slightly off. Like a rough bitterness, but not a hop bitterness. Maybe something to do with the dryness of the beer. I know dryness is preferred but when comparing the 2 (Dorothy and sauvage) Dorothy was much smoother.

1. Parish GiTM - the only beer from LA worthy of discussion on a national scale
2. Nola Piety - a glimmer of hope in a State committed to overly malted IPA's and thin stouts. Maybe someone will move beyond kettle sours in the future.
3-15 are a tragic story of grains and yeast that could have been used by someone else.
Love y'all.

You try that All My Tomorrows, wiltz?

I also don't see any of Old Rail's on the list. Didn't blow me out the water but one IPA they had was pretty good.

I prefer a more funky and not overly yeasty saison. All My Tomorrows is pretty traditional, it didn't do it for me.
