Wife beater, or nothing. But as the OP said, its usually too damn hot, so I go with nothing.

v neck undershirt so you can't see it
Posted on 9/25/15 at 10:38 am to TigerRob20
I don't consider them either way. I wear them because I sweat. And no I'm not fat. Inless I'll be doing something outside, I'm wearing one.

I roll undershirt in the winter, no undershirt in the summer.

I always wear an undershirt when I leave the house...because I'm fat

I don't own an undershirt.

V-neck undershirt can't see the undershirt but saves the other shirt from wear

Undershirts are for little kids are frat boys .....same thing. IMO and undershirt that is in view shows lack of style in a professional setting and inadequate testosterone in casual surroundings ..

V-neck white undershirts under a button down. You can't see them and they keep you from showing sweat.

nothing nastier that wearing a dress shirt on a hot day without an undershirt. a well dressed man wears a white T shirt under a suit or dress shirt, 100% of the time

I sweat a lot. Unless you don't sweat, undershirts are a necessity.

V Neck Undershirt FTW. All the benefits of the undershirt but without the terrible look of it protruding.
So you think chest hair protruding is better than an undershirt protruding?

Same here.

I had no idea that opposition to undershirts was a thing. Leave it to the OT Lounge, I guess.
Incidentally, I'm glad that the geekier companies nowadays don't care much about what you wear unless you're interfacing with a customer. Silicon Valley has its own unspoken dress code of hoodies, jeans, sneakers, and sweat shirts, t-shirts, etc. A different definition of "professional setting." I think better when I'm nude.

Anyone with a shred of class wears an undershirt with a dress shirt if you are wearing a tie.

V-neck undershirt with dress shirts. No for polos or anything else.
