Metarie area casual dinner recommendations

Gonna be in Metarie tomorrow and need to find a nice casual place to catch dinner. Not looking for anything fancy. A good dive spot is more what I'm looking for! Go

Lager's is pretty cool casual spot, at corner of Severn and Veterans. Has an Irish Pub feel to it, I'd recommend buffalo shrimp appetizer and the turbo dog chicken sandwich.

We ate at NO Food & Spirits last week for the first time. Next door to R&O in Bucktown. Give it a try.
