It just seems like a ridiculous thing to do, unless you have talked to the owner and given them warning
It's like anything else though. If you don't want your drone to get shot then don't trespass with it.
I don't want to get shot so I stay off of property I don't have permission to be on.

What if that drone is actually hoovering over your pool creeping on the female members of your family?
How is the property owner going to tell the difference?

It varies state to state but look it up it's generally around 200' with exceptions for ariel easements.

Someone did it over my backyard when me and my boy were out throwing the baseball. I didn't like it. They haven't done it since then when I've been outside and you can hear them inside as well and I haven't heard it.
It is an invasion and intrusion and will have to be regulated or someone's going to get killed over it.

If I knew that for a fact, then I may take action
Most likely I would try to follow it back to its origin and speak to the owner about its intentions, at least before I opened fire

I have a drone and mine doesn't have a camera. But you can't tell if it has one or not when it's in the air. So, would you shoot down my drone if I am flying it? I fly it up and down my street, usually above the tree lines and will fly it low to the ground over sidewalks as well.

PsychTiger...
Damn it.
I'll have to work quickly to market it properly before the real inventor realizes what he has.

What if the girl looked like this, and was just really developed for her age? Maybe she was spreading her legs at the pool in an inviting fashion.
It's her fault if she gave the drone the impression she was legal.

Just shoot it. Then when the cops show up act like you have no idea how it happened.

What kind of bullshite-arse drone doesn't have a camera? What do you do with it?

I would need to know more. Is this guy's property inside the city limits? Then no. A person can't be discharging firearms inside the city limits. If he lives out in the country, maybe an acreage, and somebody is flying over his property and taking photos of his teenage daughter hanging out poolside, hell yeah. Fire away.

Yes. And punt it like a football if I could reach it on the sidewalk.

I think if it has a camera and I came outside and pointed a gun at it, the pilot would get the message and retreat

A beginner drone. I practice flying it.

No it hasn't. Property ownership comes with aerial rights up to a certain height. This guy had every right to destroy that thing on his property. Those dumbass cops just didn't know the law.
This is going to be a major issue in coming years.

Home invasions are okay then?
