Not a bad hire. Still wish they would have chosen to have someone separate do baseball.

I heard he was really good for Georgia Southern. Even if he's not a household name yet, if he's good at what he does, then glad he's getting a shot.

It was always going to be weird unless it was a true LSU guy. At least he is young enough that a generation will come to know him as the LSU voice regardless of what we know about his background right now. I think he's a good choice.

I just think these days it's too much to have one person do all 3 sports. Very, very few schools do it that way. Heck Jim missed almost the first month of baseball season this year because it conflicted with hoops. It will be interesting to see who they get to do those games now.
