Obtaining a window tint exemption

Everybody I talk to says all you need is the Dr to sign an exempt form but according to the LSP site, you need a lot more documentation than that.
Like a FBI fingerprint card, a Rap sheet disclosure form and a background check.
Wtf?
Anybody here have the sticker? If so, how easy was it to get?

I have one, but I was a cop when I got it.they didn't even charge me the fee.

That sounds legit. If you have sensitive eyes, your doc will tell you to wear sunglasses.
Get your GP or a doc at the surgical center to give you a note. Follow the steps on the LSP website and be done with it.

Just get your shite tinted and find a place to get a brake tag. First place I went to checked my tint, and it was 14%. Second place didn't and gave me the sticker

Place I've been going to for 20yrs won't give me one since I have 5% on there now.
Several other local places says they are really getting hit hard with fines now.

That's a very broad statement. Different cars have different levels of tint from the factory. I put a ceramic tint on my vehicle. Keeps the interior much cooler than having nothing at all, or even a typical metallic tint.

I know this is super trashy but I literally just handed the doctor I went to a bunch of cash in the room and said can you handle the paperwork I need for the exemption.
He looked at the money and said sure, not a problem.
