this is my pick. For some reason the whole thing was absolutely fascinating to me.

And the fact that he was in all those other shitty movies made it really surprising.

I'm young, but thats one of the most edge of your seats performances I've ever seen. Gave me chills in the theaters.

Picking one is too hard for me so....

Lead Actor: DDL (There Will Be Blood or My Left Foot)
Supporting Actor: Javier Bardem (No Country For Old Men)
Lead Actress: Kathy Bates (Misery)
Supporting Actress: Rita Moreno (West Side Story)

TV: Hugh Laurie or Bryan Cranston. Their characters both had so much depth. Wonderful work to make them so believable season after season.

Jack Nicholson in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest always gets my vote for this.

I love Jack, but this is yet another one of his roles where I feel like it's almost Jack being Jack.

The Shining is one of the few films where I felt like I was truly watching a character and not simply Jack Nicholson act.

I don't know if it's the best, but Christian Bale in American Psycho was by far the most entertaining.
