Just watched the video and as a parent of three sports playing teens that young lady gets what she deserves. One of those runners could have been seriously hurt because of her poor sportsmanship. If she loses her scholarship that's her own damn fault.
Hey, BooBoo. I'm completely okay with the girl getting what she deserves for her actions. What I'm not okay with is people not involved getting involved and calling for the girl's head. It's the world we live in today though.

The type of people defending this bitch are the same people who push their kids way too hard in pee-wee/high school sports. Parasitic parents who use their child's athletic ability to feel glorious and mighty themselves. When their child is failing, they tell them to do this stuff.

Agforlife and the other idiots defending this girl probably push their kids so hard that is could be regarded as child abuse.

In other words, welcome to Texas. Possibly the most psychopathic state in the country (after California)

Educated enough to know a POS when I see one. Just telling it how it is. You on the other hand, would welcome this one on your team. No wonder Mississippi State doesn't excel at, well, anything. But with her at least MSU softball games would be entertaining.

Pox I get your point. I agree her personal life need not be dragged into this. Let her suffer the consequences for her actions on the field and be done with it.

A high school softball game in Texas has earned a level of attention no one was expecting, and the Internet has decided to crush a high school junior.

Two times Saturday during the Texas 4A state championship softball game, Needville junior catcher Megan Crosby elbowed separate Huffman Hargrave players as they attempted to touch home plate.

Wrong? Sure. Punishable? Definitely, though inexplicably the umpire allowed it to happen twice without ejecting Crosby from the game. Worthy of eviscerating a teenager on social media? (You can search for yourself.) Hardly.

"It's crazy it's gone viral," Hargrave athletic director Mike McEachern told Yahoo Sports. "It's an unfortunate situation. The kid made a bad choice; things happen. It's unfortunate."

Hargrave went on to win the game 6-4, and McEachern praised his team for keeping their cool.

I agree that people who want to actively try and go after this girl are losers.

Having said that, this would all pass over if the girl publicly apologized. I haven't seen that. And, with the defense of her by the person on here who knows her (assuming he isn't lying), there is a decent chance that she and/or her family doesn't think she did anything wrong.

Those 'bo's were so intentional.

So is such a pussy. There is no play at the plate, so there is no reason whatsoever for her to be standing in the base path. Her left foot is on the chalk right in front of the plate.

Another reason why they are so devastating is b/c sucker punches usually are, and thats basically what these were.

For those who are defending her, how fair would it be for the runner to just truck the catcher when there is no play at the play? When there is a play at the plate that is when contact should be allowed.

Alright. I just watched this a few times. On the first one, she's out in front of the plate and not over the baseline. Ball wasn't even on it's way to home. Could've been handled better by the catcher and the runner.

Second one was definitely obstruction.

Can't really muster up any outrage over this.

slow-mo. That elbow is not "bracing"

Girl could have seriously injured both runners.
