It is absolutely amazing to me how this little count hasn't been disciplined yet.

If you fake getting hit by a ball, the rule is that you are kicked out of the game. This should warrant a complete banning for the rest of the season.

here's a "point of emphasis regardingthe NFHS rule on obstruction:

Obstruction point of emphasis

quote:

Obstruction is defined by Rule 2-36 as the act of a defensive team member that hinders or impedes the progress of a batter's attempt to make contact with a pitched ball or that impedes the progress of a runner or batter-runner who is legally running the bases, unless the fielder is in possession of the ball or is making the initial play on a batted ball. The act may be intentional or unintentional, physical or verbal.

Totally agree, but you know she is aware of the way things are today. Probably staring at a phone right now.

You're delusional. This is what's called poor sportsmanship. This girl has it and you should be ashamed for defending this POS.

bet if Scivicque did it you'd be fist pumping, stuff like what she did is pretty common for catchers, although most are better at disguising it

You can clearly see the elbow come out and go up to knock them down.

I'd say at this point that no one's going to be welcoming her anywhere, save for the most desperate JUCO.

Nah, cheap shots have no business in sports. I wouldn't be excited if Kade did that because he would have been ejected and rightfully so.

Just watched the video and as a parent of three sports playing teens that young lady gets what she deserves. One of those runners could have been seriously hurt because of her poor sportsmanship. If she loses her scholarship that's her own damn fault.

And for those saying she was "bracing", the ball WASN'T EVEN CLOSE to the catcher, so why the frick would she be making contact anyway?

The type of people defending this bitch are the same people who push their kids way too hard in pee-wee/high school sports. Parasitic parents who use their child's athletic ability to feel glorious and mighty themselves. When their child is failing, they tell them to do this stuff.

Agforlife and the other idiots defending this girl probably push their kids so hard that is could be regarded as child abuse.
