heading to cuvée 30A

Eta: would recommend

It is located in a new shopping area being built at the turn-off of hwy 98 to rosemary beach. Had a happening vibe at the large bar which had several tvs. Eating area is more romantic but still lively. I had an avenue 30a cocktail (rye, maple syrup, grapefruit) and then some type of gin cocktail---both were very good. Fried green tomato appetizer was pretty good. BLT wedge salad, and lamb shank were great. Too full for dessert. Wife had grouper Vince--pecan crusted grouper with honey Rosemary sauce--which she had before at cuvée beach and beach walk and loved. Wine list is solid. Tim Creeham was there speaking with the guests. I think this place will do very well

Roasted veggie ragu over angel hair pasta with fresh parm shavings. Garlic bread. Fresh blueberries for desert.

My son's 18th birthday dinner. Heading to Clancy's with my mom, the ex, son and his two best friends. Not sure what I'll have, but I am leaning towards soft shell crabs for my entrée.

Steamed yellow potatoes with parsley and butter and a chicken salad (chicken, Hellman's, celery, walnuts and grapes) sandwich.

Having a diet Dr. Pepper now. No room for the rainbow sherbet that is calling to me from the freezer. Or it might be an ice cream sandwich. Regardless, no room in the stomach for frozen dairy.
