You get what you pay for. Hearing aids are like computers…..the better you get….the better they perform.

Part of the reason for higher cost is the time/service you get from an Audiologist. See if they will let you try a pair for a day or so? Mine did.

My job is going to have me traveling a lot more in the next few years. They allow me to choose the airline, hotels, etc. If you had to choose exclusively between American or Untied due to perks….which would you choose?

You pay for what you get. Most of the over the counter ones are just “amplifiers” and not a hearing aid. Go see an Audiologist and get professionally fit. I know several people that wasted money on the cheap stuff before getting the real ones.
