Yeah we're fine. The River would have to hit 37-38 feet and even then, it would just be in the streets, not in houses. At that point, there's water in downtown.
La Maison Sur La Rouge, the subdivision next door has 4-5 houses with their power off, but they're much lower than us.

There's a handful of new houses directly on the river that have popped up the last few years between Jimmie Davis and the port. It will be interesting to see how they fare as well.

It's like people just don't know how to do anything. Don't sandbag all up on your house, sand bag away. Water is coming thru no matter what, you gotta pump it back over quicker tgan it comes in. Now it will just deep on in the house
