Chris Paul- Top 3 PG in the NBA

Griffin- Top 10 NBA player and one of the most exciting players in the NBA

Puig- Five tool player with a terrific start to his career, very entertaining to watch when he's on his game

Kershaw- Best pitcher in baseball, well on his way to a first ballot HOF career

Drew Doughty- Yeah it's hockey but he's currently the best player on the most successful franchise in LA

Whoever the Lakers draft at #2- Only on the list because Los Angeles is a Lakers town after all. Would Okafor or Towns be the biggest athlete in LA just by being the face of the most popular team in town? Or would they need to accomplish something first to surpass the likes of Griffin, Kershaw, Puig, etc... in overall popularity?

Puig has been forced down our throats since day 1 so I'll say Puig.

Trout, the best player in baseball for the next decade.

Kershaw, the best pitcher in baseball on the second most popular team in LA after the Lakers.

Paul by virtue of the fact that he's on the best NBA team in an NBA town. Griffin is well-marketed and has embraced the LA spotlight so he rounds out the top tier.

David Freese.

Remember when it was Matt Leinart at the height of Kobe's powers?
