Not sure I would say it's the best, but PSP - Palm Springs International is pretty cool.

A lot of it is outdoors and they have great weather so it works out. It's small but its pretty neat.

Not going to start another thread, but my flight from DFW to PDX on Alaska Airlines was the GOAT flight. I'm in love with Alaska Airlines.

Agreed, we flew on them coming back to Houston from Portland a couple of weeks ago. And the Portland airport is pretty nice. Hell they got a place you can fill your growler before you get on the plane

Dubai airport is absolutely amazing, and without a doubt one of the best airports around. Second place goes to Schiphol. It's a great airport if you're travelling with kids.

and definite props to Detroit airport too. I was pleasantly surprised

I agree with the unanimous. Schipol is my favorite international airport.

Favorite domestic is probably Charlotte (those chairs) and least favorite is most definitely LAX. A large portion of LAX looks straight out of the fricking 80s, they need to renovate that place

LAX is a total dump, I hate that place just like I hate everything California in general

IND is brand new and super nice.
DTW is super nice, and has been since they built McNamara.

Amsterdam and it ain't even close.

The best American airport would have to be ATL.

You either connect to Cameroun through there or Paris, right?

For the people who say ATL, why?

Is it the volume of frequencies that DL runs that allow you to get to your destination even in the event of a misconnect? I am genuinely interested because from a facilities (passenger facing) it is above average but not great.

Only flew through Schipol once, remember it being fine but not outstanding (could have been the sleepwalking)

A lot of folks here are throwing out airports but no reasons why, I am interested in hearing WHY people like certain airports..

Is it wayfinding? ease of connections? efficient transfer security? lack of remote stands (bus to gate), etc.

Paris' people movers move you between levels, not just laterally.

Cool feature for sure.

Singapore is just phenomenal. One could actually spend an entire day just wandering through the facilities: a botanical garden, movie theater, recording studio, weight room, numerous loungers (with timers that gently shake the bed when it's time for your flight), and abundant showers.

Seoul/Incheon and Hong Kong are a close second and third.

Detroit and Minneapolis are both nicer....and their rental car facilities aren't a 15 minute bus ride away.

Minneapolis's Delta terminal has iPads everywhere to help kill time when waiting for your plane or connection

I order a drink from those things every time I'm there...which is pretty much every Monday and Thursday.

MSP is actually two airports. The two terminals are not connected to each other by walkway or the little tram. You have to take public transit.

Delta, United, American, and USAirways, and all international flights go through one while Skywest, Southwest, and all of the discount carriers go through the other.
