Giving them some slack due to the volume, IAH and ATL are pretty solid airports - I would rank them 1a and 1b.

I don't get the dislike for the Denver airport at all.
Yes it is a long distance from your plane to baggage claim--but by the time you get off the plane and get to baggage claim, your bags are waiting for you. (Unlike DFW, where you can get to baggage claim in 10 minutes--then wait 30 more for your bags to arrive)
And getting through security is rather easy.
The corridors are long but they have moving sidewalks.
