Give the dude a break. Half the people on here would probably flunk out of LSU too. It's done and over with. We need to stop all this shaming players that leave LSU early for whatever reason. As long as they're not competing against us in the future, we should be thankful for what they've done for us.

JF had two jobs : play baseball and pass your classes. And when you play baseball, you get a ton more academic help than 99% than the regular students . I just don't feel that sorry for him .

I'm not insulting him, in fricking pissed his actions could cost LSU and his teammates a title run.

You know he was a sports administration major right? Lets not pretend he was studying something rigorous. I always pulled for Foster, very shocked this happened but shite happens.

Eligibility rules state he only needs to complete 6 hours toward his major. He could have been taking 9 hours, 12, or 21... He didn't pass at least 6 is the understanding based on that rule.

Leaving early is a term for kids who enter the draft or graduate early and go off to graduate school, med school, etc. Flunking out senior year is not "leaving early;" its called being a jackass.

He needed to get C's....a 2.0 isn't hard to do at all. If he cannot get a C in a class with the amount of resources available

Look, I am not saying people should insult him, but he deserves no pity or remorse from anyone. In order to be eligible with his major in his senior year he simply needed to just attend class. That is it. So for him to be ineligible tells me he didnt do that.

Some of you people… This dude is no longer able to participate as a member of the baseball team and is in bad standing with the university.. get over it.. He obviously does not care about the team as much as even some fans do.. He had a privilege and he abused it and lost it..
