The be my b**ch cheer has been going on since I was a freshman, that was 01. According to my older friends it's been going on way longer than that. In any case this is an EXTREMELY DEAD ISSUE. Let's all move on. But yes the cursing out of an opposing player/coach for every team does need to stop. Next home game it will be Tubberville then, F Nick Saban at Bama, and someone for ARK. At some point enough is enough, it gets old.

I've seen this posted several times over the course of the past couple of weeks. If I am reading this correctly, it is a statement that back in "the good ole days" people weren't so sensitive. This argument makes no sense. Until very, very recently, adults, even young ones, understood what common decency and courtesy were. ok ronny mexico, if you are one of the LSU students not on tigerdroppings, and didn't know about the number calling thing, what do you do? You have to assume Tebow is starting it.

Yeah, lsu should thin out the student section, lose a number of donation contributors, and decrease the fan base because of less students in the future. Why don't we poll the football players on whether or not they want the students there?
I am not sure that the students provide a large amount of $$ to the games, but don't know the numbers, so will give you a bye on that,
however, there will always be an overabundance of fans to get into that staduim to see the Tigers, no matter how many seats are for students or not
And I am sure the team wants the Student Section to rock, AS DO MANY of the folks who aren't impressed by the F-U cheers...but I have the feeling they'd rather have a student section that rocks in a way that doesn't deter from the whole LSU community.. The students are a GREAT part of a GREAT School with GREAT tradition, please be a positive part of that and not bring us all down with you...

Or since he knows he's one of the biggest college football players in the country, he might want to be a little smarter than posting his number on a web site for hundreds of people to see. I watched the game. The chant of F--K you Tebow was very clear after he did his cell phone thing.
I said this on the Rant after the USC game, and was told that the networks can control this, that the school won't be sanctioned for it, etc, etc.
I still maintain it is a matter of time that something will be done by the FCC to stop this idiotic behavior. CBS, ABC whoever will be told that this language will no longer be allowed to go out over the air. We will then be treated to a 5 minute time delay to edit out the idiots.
OR>> the school will be told that they will be unwilling to take a chance on a huge fine and give us an ultimatum to clean it up.
And all because Dad's little darlins want to be cool and say cuss words....

I think this kind of stuff has happened in the past but now the internet is here so everyone can spread their concerns. I don't like the FU chants but everything else is fair game. At least the students didn't throw beer bottles at a bus like several years ago. So is it worse now or not?
