Student section!! (kind of long)

I know this may bother a lot of you, but the student section has changed. I sat in the student section for the Florida game on saturday for the first time in 2 years. I never heard so many vulgar cheers!! Not the normal one's like "kick their arse!" and thing like of that nature. I am talking about, "F-U Tebow", "be my bitch," and all of those. I never heard thing like that 2 years ago. Well, atleast not that many people saying at one time. I talk to friends that sat in the south end zone, and said they could hear it loud as day.
I never thought I would say this, but I think our fans (student section) are starting to act like Alabama and florida fans!! That is certainly not good. I don't want to be known for having classless fans like that. I know every teams student section is like that to a degree, but it was really bad saturday.
I would want to be at an LSU game with kids one day and having to explain to them why they should not be saying F-U Tebow. And no, I am not 45 and with grandkids or something like that. I am 25 and just puting myself in other people's shoes. Cursing does not bother me... in fact I do it. But I certainly don't do it in front of people that I don't know or chant it at a game!!!

don't know where you have been, but the "will you be my bitch" has been chanted for years, the only addition really is the F-U tebow. And, if you watched the game, and pregame, you know why that happened. He earned every bit of it. The pussification of america continues

Hopefully our school administration will continue to thin out the student section until they get the message, or they can't be heard due to lack of numbers!

Yeah, lsu should thin out the student section, lose a number of donation contributors, and decrease the fan base because of less students in the future. Why don't we poll the football players on whether or not they want the students there?

yes, you should wash my mouth out with soap when i say f*ck to a person disrespecting our section specifically. if you haven't noticed, it's COLLEGE football. not mid life crisis football. the key thing here, and i hope it doesn't surprise you too much, is that it is for COLLEGE students. did you know that the players are also in college? i know, its surprising. did you also know that they get really excited about the student section chants? guess they could use more coaches to serve as "adult supervision" so there'll be someone there to pull their earlobes when the snicker at the "f u t bo" chant.

i did not really notice it at the game but i did when watching the game last night. i thought it was trashy.
i would definately like for the students to come up with something a bit more clever.
but i remember what it was like to be 18 to 21. and i probably would have thought the "F U tebow" chant was the coolest thing ever.
just saying i hate it but well that is what kids do. they see it as standing up to the man.

the pussification of America continues indeed. The student section tickets should have been voided for f-bombs. Then maybe those who can't control their juvinile behaviour will have it controled for them.
Maybe one game would be enough, maybe not.
I was a young punk myself, so I try to be patient, but your insistance on stealing attention from football team over f-bombs in public, on t.v. for goodness sakes. no class

We've had cheers like this since atleast '99 when I went to school at LSU. No biggie. And it happens in all sports. I remember basketball distinctly that year.

Just because you can,doesn't mean you should . Funny thing from where we sit in the old SU21,I couldn't hear anything from over there anyway.
