There is a lot of negative energy here. Let's make some positive posts.
What have you done to help other people? What random act of kindness or selfless act have you done in the last month and the last year that ranks number one for you?
I'll start things off.
1. For the last month I donated money to St.Judes.
2. For the year my best moment was helping an old lady. I was about to get in my truck and a woman approached me and asked if I could help her. Wanted me to come get her mom out of the car. I asked if this was an emergency and she said no. Just for a doctors appointment. Said her mom can not even stand and I would have to pick her up and place her in a wheel chair. I talked to both ladies the entire time so it would not be awkward. Both said thanks and were on our way.
So post your nicest act for the last month. And number one act of kindness for the calendar year of 2015. Update every month for your monthly good deeds and you can replace your top act of kindness when this is accomplished at any time.
1. Monthly= April
2. Year to date= 2015

not bragging about my selfless acts and diminishing their value

I've cut back on posting here so there's that.

Made a couple of go fund me donations to people I don't know.
Picked up the entire table's checks at a restaurant without them knowing who did it.
Bought some stuff at a fundraiser's live auction and donated it back to be sold again.

This has to be the most self-serving thread in the history of TD.

Don't let the left hand know what the right is doing.

My good deed was buying and delivering a christmas tree to the convent at our Church. Family was out Christmas tree shopping and I saw 3 nuns out shopping for a small tree. They got in line behind me. Without saying anything, I paid for their tree and ours. My son and I put it in the back of his pick up truck and delivered it to their convent.
That was fun. They were very surprised and I like doing stuff like that.

Screw that "pay it forward" bull. The last time I got in a Starbucks line they had one of those going. I got my usual grande coffee that costs a couple bucks. The terds behind me got 4 vente mochachocalattes or some crap with extra espresso shots and junk. I'm not paying for someone else's greed. I left a $10 tip for the workers and said the pay it forward will end with me

"And when you do good deeds unto others, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to share what they did on FB and TD, and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full."

Gave this backpatting thread the downvote it justly earned.

This thread is basically a bragging thread. That would completely negate doing good things because you're a good person. If you're really that good of a person, you don't need to explain to other people why

I'm paying this forward to the next person who posts in this thread

A homeless guy asked for a dollar and I said "sure, hold on". I checked my wallet and didn't have any cash. Jesus knows I intended to give him a dollar so it's all good. I think I get that point.
