Actually it's stained glass.
I picked this thing up at an old antique shop and the only thing the little lady that owned place knew about it is that it is dated and came out of an old Catholic Church in New Orleans.
I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it it seen One like it before.
It's going to look really good in our trailer, but she did tell me that I needed to buy some sort of light to put behind that would illuminate it.
I wonder what type of light would be best to buy? My ceilings are 12' it's way up there... I don't want to change the batteries out every other week, so what should I get?
Here's the pic.. It's prob 4'x4' close to it.

I see it's a cross? Knowing you, you will probably hang it upside down.

There's a good chance it's haunted. Best of luck.

Why not hang it in a window?

Idk what this is.. It looks like on one side it's got some water damage.. Majority is on the bottom.. Wood frame isn't damaged at all and to my knowledge it's original.

Wait a minute. Trailers have 12' ceilings?

That was weak. My turn.
Knowing you, you should get a light that changes color and set it to switch between yellow, orange and red.

the best light would be natural light
would be a cool window to put in a bathroom since you can't really see through it

Or burn it.

I think TIGERLEE is one fine individual with a wonderful sense on what's right and wrong, and has a great stance on race relations.... But I'm calling bullshite on the 12 ft ceilings. If you add the additional height to the top of the roof and the length from floor to pavement, I don't see how they could fit under most overpasses.

If it's on a high window - Put a light outside under the eaves and an inside switch so you can turn it off an on whenever you want.
ETA:
It's definitely been sitting in water. Use some 1:12 bleach water on it then rub it down with WD40 to kill insects or whatever larvae/eggs and fungus may be in that frame. Let it dry completely then re-seal it.

Ok thanks.
I did clean it as Best I could.
The glass is probably half an inch to quarter inch thick so I'm not sure exactly how you would even get it out of the frame without causing more harm than good.
