Alright, so I picked it up today and just started playing.
Does anyone have any tips on blocking? I'm trying that mission with Raditz where you fight Goku and Piccolo and they straight up rape me.
Can't dodge or block.

LB is your blocking button. It's pretty difficult to time. I normally try to teleport out of the way if I have enough stamina by pressing the left trigger and A button. Sometimes I don't have enough stamina to pull it off and I get skull fricked

Finally found a copy. Played while in a party with a friend tonight. He raged the entire time over the block mechanic.

Yea, I realized that it isn't so much about blocking as it is dodging.

It seems like it's going to be an ok game. A bit too grindy and cheap feeling in some areas. There's a lot of repeating the same mission for xp and loot before you can tackle the story missions. There seems to be a pretty sharp leveling curve from one main quest to another.
Also, the graphics are really dark for some reason

Hate fighting games but this has my attention. Doesn't look like the typical fighter and I love me some DBZ. How would this play on PC? Control wise? Was thinking Xbox one but if it flows well on the PC I may just go that route...that way I won't have to get out into the sun.

I'm probably just going to use my 360 controller for the PC version unless m+kb controls are actually good (usually aren't all that great for fighting games).

I actually somewhat enjoy this. I went into the Cell Saga mission last night and I was so low leveled that my punches weren't doing any damage to Cell. I had to go do some of the parallel quests and level my guy up to even have a chance. It adds "realism" (in the DBZ world) to the game because people like Yamcha and Tien wouldn't stand a chance against Perfect Cell.
To each his own though. I can understand how that would become tiresome for some people. There are a few complaints I have about the game. The no preview option before you buy clothes/armor is the biggest one. If I buy something and don't like how it looks, I sell it right back and get 75% of my zeni.

Yeah I noticed this too. For some reason though as I've progressed further into the game Toki City seems to be getting brighter but that's probably because I've gotten used to it.
