But... I haven't been saving up all those air, credit card and hotel points for three years for nothing. I'm using up a bunch of them and surprising my wife with a trip to Paris in April and a stay in the Waldolf Astoria near Versailles. Just the two of us. No kids. Business class both ways. Should be a nice surprise for VD.

Awesome

Some hard to find candies that she really likes. We don't do much for Valentine's Day (gift wise) since our anniversery is the following month. Generally just a goofy card, maybe some flowers, and a gag gift or some kind of really random food.

i just used 2 years worth of airline miles and hotel points to book trips to NYC and Cozumel for our 10th anniversary that's going to cost us bout $300 out of pocket for.

I don't want to hear bitching about my travel for 2 years.

Nothing.

Will be @ Mardi Gras, so I doubt if we even remember that it is V-Day.

We don't really do much normally anyway. Cook something nice at home, usually.

I picked up a pair of diamond earring yesterday and put them in the bag of groceries I picked up on my way home. Once I got in, I left the groceries in their bags and on the counter. After 10 minutes, I told her that the groceries weren't going to put themselves up. I was able to sleep in my own bed last night and fun was had by all.

Those mugs are pricey.

Amazon. Made my friend a Moscow Mule kit for her birthday, and Amazon had the mugs for like $10.

Except this year it's a Saturday. Women are going to be so upset they can't have their public show of gifts at work.

Ah, they'll probably just turn to brag on Facebook.

I'm going to embarrass the crap out of my bf by putting those mushy Vday window decals all over his truck before he goes to work. And I got him a book from Urban Outfitters about why he's awesome (that I filled out) and a cool band tee. He will actually appreciate all this.
