A Pottery Barn employee seriously screwed with me. I'm pissed

I used to have a Pottery Barn credit card. I closed it last summer because we never use it. I got it when we were furnishing a house to get 20% off of crap.
In December, I had a billing issue to the tune of about $300 with the company (non-PB credit card issue, it had to do with a merchandise credit). To be honest, I had to be a bit of an a-hole to get it taken care of, which it was. I got pissed, took care of the problem and moved on. I thought the company had as well - until today.
First, I PDF my Credit Karma account every month, this is the account from December.$0 balance, closed, no missed payments.
Today, my credit score plummeted, and this was the reason:
From perfect payment to 24 missed payments (including 19 in a row). I'm pretty sure that the person I was an a-hole to just took it out on me this way.
The kicker is that a sloppy mistake was made. In November, 2012 I was perfect, and went to 180 days past due in December, 2012, before getting current in August, 2013, and starting the downward spiral.
I have contacted them in a very serious manner, but this reeks of someone just screwing with me.

That's a lot of missed payments. Perhaps Crate and Barrel next time? Or maybe an upscale Target? Not everyone is PB material.

Hard to take him when serious when he can't spell engaged.

That does not show a perfect payment record. There are lawyers who love debt reporting cases. Swzak in Shreveport is one of them.

You must have the same accountant as my wife...

Would you drown a puppy in an airport toilet if it meant getting your credit score back?

Is it by any change managed by GE Money Bank was it? Similar shite happened to me a few years ago. I paid it off with an online check, thought everything was okay and received a letter 3- 4 months later stating my account was frozen due to fraud. It took several days but I finally talked to someone and we figured out that I transposed 2 digits in my bank account. No biggie, they fixed it, I paid it and thought life was good....nope. While my account was frozen, they were charging me late fees on top of late fees totaling a few hundred dollars. I called back, talked to half a dozen people and those frickers would not take off the charges.

Sorry. Did you say this was a Pottery Barn or Blockbuster Video account?

Peter Millar should be checked for mental competency for allowing that shirt to be sold.
