A bit extreme but some truth to it. HOWEVER... Chavis D scheme is for D Line to occupy the O Line and for LB's to fill it. So part of that is on Chavis, no?

I agree, but the reason they say O was a DC at USC is because it was on their website (or an affiliated website) So people assume it's true. Call it the "French Model Syndrome"

I've never liked Miles as our HC, but he's going to here for several more years so I'll pull for him and the team and hope they do well. Miles really needs to rethink everything on offense though.

Ed Orgeron, one of the most popular assistant coaches in USC history, is in his fourth year back at Troy as the recruiting coordinator and defensive line coach after returning to the Trojan staff in January of 2010.

He also was the defensive coordinator in 2010 and 2011 and then the assistant head coach starting in 2012. It's his 10th overall season at USC.

We agree - Like the great intellectual, Forest Gump, once said - "Stupid is as stupid does". I never liked Miles myself. I think they ought to change "negatiger" to "negacoachingstaff". It would be more accurate. We all support the Tigers, but we get vilified for expressing our concerns and opinions of the current coaching situation, which is laughable. After all, the self righteous pumpers among us always resort to name calling and personal attacks. That's all they have left. Who does that sound like. I know that probably rates me as being totally stupid and a complete "rantard". Who gives a sh$t? I can guarantee there are many pumpers and Miles worshipers out there trolling who far exceed my level of stupidity.

This is why there are people who say he never was a DC.

Ed O was never a DC

Again, Ed O was never a DC

That was Monte Kiffin's defense, not Orgeron. Peoples may have missed his title, but they are also sheep; they hear it on here and repeat it constantly.

The sentiment remains the same though.

Chances are those bloggers are students who are taking Journalism/English courses and/or are seeking a career as a journalist/writer. This is a way the University helps them to hone their skills in writing. Not all of the bloggers for the school websites care about sports. They simply do it to ad to their writing clip upon graduation. And also remember, people do make mistakes. I find more errors in blogs/papers these days than at any time in the past.

They don't and you are making yourself look dumb by taking one source, although it is one that SHOULD be credible, and acting as if it is the gospel.

Let me preface this statement with....I have not been to practice, but the ST job interview was for STs and 1/2 DL. I suppose that BDP is coaching the DL, too.

Ed Orgeron would be a big boost to recruiting which is what we need to catch up to Bama, but the defensive scheme I guess you could say wouldn't be as strong.

So, was Bebe co-DC with Monty? Was Monty some other defensive specialist coach?

Inquiring minds want to know!

So, he had Welter play MLB for 1.5 seasons?
