Its debateable that he is the most successful coach in school history. Dont act like it isnt.

I've never said I want him fired so I am not part of the pitchfork crowd. I think we have wasted some talent over the years on offense...that will never change for me. It is what it is. His stubbornness not to change reminds of the last couple of years with Dinardo...we just have much better talent.

I don't think there's another fanbase in the world that isn't happy with championships and says they lucked into it as much as you miserable arse people. It's really an amazing thing to see

Miles won't win another title at LSU. Not as long as his daddy in Tuscaloosa is still kicking around.
Answer me this, pumpers: How did we lose 3 games last year with 4 NFL starters on offense?

He does a great job of getting us around 8-10 wins a year but the 2007 title... you have to say... we lucked our way into a title. Lost twice, to two unranked teams, one at home.
Every team needs a lil uck. But honestly, like bama, we proved we deserved to be there by beating the #1 team in the country soundly in the title game. didnt need a fricking do over. What other team really deserved to be there? We won the best conference and everyone else was sitting with two losses. So if not us, then some other two loss team would have been spanked by tosu.

Do you disagree with the assertion that it is one of the lickiest titles of all time given the record and standings the final week of the season?

If Les does indeed go to Michigan, will you and Choctaw be on the same flight to Ann Arbor to welcome your hero?

I can argue, no coach at LSU will win one while the best coach in football is at alabama.
But Les has one won and played him in another, so that is better than every other fricking coach out there.

Beefense, you love Les more than LSU. It's obvious. There's not a thread you wouldn't hijack in order to defend his honor.

This was said from 2005-2010

I assure you, if I had any initiative to look it up, I guarantee you, I can find that that's not the first time a team has lost loaded with talent.

that coaching job was a freaking embarrassment. absolutely pitiful.
He lost me for good with that.

No. I think he has done a great job but I also think we could have done better the last few years.

c
LSU recruits itself. They can plug anyone and everyone into that spot and easily win 9 games at minimum.
As you can tell, THIS IS LSU!!!! There's no way LSU could turn into Florida or Texas or USC or Michigan.

No id say Bama. because we actually won on the final weekend of the season.
quote:
In 2011, Alabama was selected to play LSU in a rematch between the two programs despite losing the earlier matchup and not winning their division, let alone their conference. This entails that a team that could not even win their conference title is awarded the title of best team in the nation, despite the obvious presence of a better squad within their own conference, as was the case with Alabama in 2011.

Nope. I'm thrilled with it, but it isn't the evidence of any sort of elite coaching skill some people say it is. He got beat twice that year by inferior teams. He's good for at least one of those losses a year, 2011 being the only exception. It's pretty hard to win a title that way.

Just like Gerry fricking Dinardo did until he had a complete moron as a defensive coordinator.
