If Nebraska doesn't hire Frost I'd bet Kiffin-Kiffin-Oregon get the band back together in Lincoln, where Monte played long ago.

He could have had the Nicholls HC. Must have something better coming. Who is his agent??

theres some smoke out here that he's coming back to SC in some capacity. I doubt it because it would be such an ackward situation for Sark, but crazier things have happened.

Well considering Haden gave him a huge check after Coach O told him no to be DC, I doubt he goes back.

I can't see it. He is enjoy time off being close to his kids. He will stay in the southeast. Now where that is I have no clue. A&M, Auburn, etc. But I would bet he won't go too far from South Louisiana.

He's never been a DC, though.
He was always just a D-line coach and recruiting coordinator until Ole Miss hired him as HC. After he flamed out there, he went back to being a DL coach.
Hiring Orgeron to be a DC would be like when the Jets hired Tony Sparano to be their OC, despite the fact that he'd only ever been an OL coach before getting the Miami job and had never called plays.

not sure if you've heard his interviews lately, but he's basically asking to come back.

UL if it opens up.
I don't think Petrino is going anywhere
But if Hudspeth left ULL then I think coach O will be in Lafayette.
