What a twist!

My wife absolutely hates football (and sports in general, really), so yeah she is pretty fidgety and talky during football games.

Not a problem in my house.
Wife cooks up something good for every big Auburn game and she is just as hardcore as I am during the game. It's not uncommon for her to send me random text messages about player news or recruiting news that she picks up on before I do. Girl can hang with most people I know in a football conversation.

You need to check yourself.

my GF is pretty good during games.
But i did take her to see Gone Girl a few weeks ago. She would not shut up. haha. I think the story really got her excited. Which made me worry a little.

My gf has no interest in sports at all she was working on her laptop when I yelled she said" You need a fricking Xanax. Didn't go over well. Told her get DA frick in the room. She still mad at me. Oh well. Great thread Paige

Well the wife would not stfu. Her husband told her what an important game it was and to stop talking fifty times. She's like lemme say this one thing. It's important. Then proceeds to ask him about going on a vacation in February. And she kept reading facebook posts and asking us to look at pics and videos
I wanted to choke her. I can't imagine having to deal with that every game. Why do they even act like they like football and are watching the game? Why not just go watch the real housewives or some shite in another room?
I don't have this problem because I have an SO that actually likes football (or at least college football). She will do that stuff sometimes during Saints games, but she is 100% focused on football if LSU is playing.

I find it really odd if a woman is seriously into football.

I don't hang out with girls that do that. BUT mriluv said he went to our friend's house to watch the game and the friend invited a guy and his wife from his son's peewee football team and the dude talked the entire game. I would have come unglued if I had been there. People like that piss me off.

Do you have this problem when watching football with your wife or gf
yes
a) she talks the ENTIRE GAME, even if she loves the team. Often times not about football. But she really is asleep or talking there is no sit in silence with her.
b) She does not understand the basic rules of football despite watching 6-8 football games a year. Every year I have to explain holding, pass interference, college FB overtime, Pro FB overtime, the playoffs, etc.

I think this has moved up to my #1 peeve. To ANYONE who reads facebook/twitter/instagram posts to others, "frick YOU!" What makes you think everyone or anyone else will find it interesting? If you do, just post it to your own damn account and let them make the decision.
It's just fricking annoying!

There are few things worse than non-football conversation during a football game.
