Looking at the NFC standings at the half way point of the season, it is a real possibility. Is it probable, who knows. I do like our chances being most of our remaining games are at the dome. Looking at the rest of the NFC's schedules that is a thought that is not to far out there. A few lucky breaks and bounces from the football gods just might put us over the top.

Damn the 3rd or 4th seed, I want the 1 seed and home advantage throughout the playoffs.

12-4 may cut it, its not out of the realm of possibility. We definitely shot ourselves in the foot with losing 3 road games by a combined 6 points though.

This team is talented enough to run the table. If Sean can stay committed to the running game, I have no doubt we get 10 wins minimum. He called a brilliant game tonight, as he did vs GB as well.

Another thing to note is the defense the last 3 weeks. They've also developed that knack for turnovers, which always come in bunches.

I think best outcome is 2 seed with Arizona 1

Philly winning east
GB winning N

Dallas' tie break means we need philly to win not Dallas

Thus Arizona beating Dallas is better.

The Detroit / Green Bay outcomes with Saints mean I'm a Pack fan over Lions

Got to figure Saints drop 1 or 2. I'd take 2 seed in a second and hope Cards don't play Saints in NFC title game

I'm thinking the cardinals fall when they play their division games. Dallas will fall off. I'm thinking Detroit number 1 seed saints two Philly 3 and cardinals 4. Big game next week we beat the 49ers it has tie breaker scenarios in our favor. I don't see lions loose any games the way they are playing in the second quarter of games

Were 2.5 half games back of Dallas with half the season to go. Romo seems like he's hobbled so who knows if he'll make it the rest of the season.

I think everyone in the NFC West are the teams to beat. So really...we could still be really hopeful about 2nd seed. I don't see us getting the 1 honestly. It could happen but we'd basically have to win out and have others collapse. But hey, it's the NFL

I really think 10-6 this year, which should win the division, but won't grab the 2 seed.

The key is the next three home games. Have to at least go 2-1.

Have to sweep the rest of the division games.

If we go 2-1 at home vs SF, Cincy and Baltimore, we need to go at least 1-1 vs Pitt and Chicago on the road. If we manage 3-0 during the upcoming home slate and sweep the remaining division games, the Pitt and Chicago games are likely inconsequential in terms of the division race.

Well that's certainly wishful thinking unless Arizona somehow goes down in flames, but let's be real here. They won 3 games without Carson Palmer AND with the worst pass defense in the NFL... They are sure something else.

If the Saints win out the rest of the way, it would leave us at 12-4. Philly and Dallas are currently contending for the 2nd Seed, but both are without their starting QBs and have been off as of late. I foresee Philly finishing in front of Dallas just because they look more complete at this point.

Then comes 3rd seed... I could see this going to either Detroit or New Orleans. I'd put Green Bay in the mix as well, but I'm going to give it to Detroit because their defense has saved them every game.

4th Seed is obviously between Saints and Carolina at this point. Saints are the much more complete team, evident from the Thursday night game from last week. Atlanta is still in the mix but they would really need to turn their season around to win out, which isn't happening. And the Bucs, well, they suck...
