Human life as we know it, seems so....insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

It is statistically next to impossible that we are alone in the universe.

We will probably never find out for sure. Statistically.

Can we stop letting assholes like SirWinston derail threads like this. I mean damn, this was really cool and breathtaking. Lets talk about and elaborate on that.

Sometimes I stare up in the sky and just think about how insignificant anything that I do is, in the grand scheme of things. Some people probably think that's depressing, but I think it's rather enlightening.

Do we ever know it existed, if we never existed?

Kinda disappointing the video didn't zoom all the way into a house window to show some dude sitting at his computer, fapping to porn at the end.

You know, just to show how insignificant we all are.

Imagine the perspective of Earth being as big as the last sphere shown before going back towards the Earth, and wrap your head around the idea that their may be intelligent life the size of the Earth in that new perspective.

In other words, their could be some form of intelligent life as relatively microscopic to us as we are to the universe. We always seem to look bigger, never smaller.

Sesame Street had a similar video years ago. Enjoy the nostalgia.

The universe isn't as big as people seem to think....the entire thing fits in a single human mind

Size is completely relative and has nothing to do with how significant something is.
