Well... where is the tipping point? At what price point do people start saying "F it" and enjoying the season from their couches?

It's already happening, chief. I dropped my season tickets this year and just bought single game tickets and parking. I bought tickets to all of the games and I still reduced my cost by more than half.

For me it's having to listen to all the idiotic soccer moms that come to the games with their kids.

And yet LSU sold all its season tickets this year. For everyone like you giving up their season tickets, many more are standing in line waiting to buy them.

Thanks, Alleva, for the awesome 100k+ stadium. Our season tickets are now worth a fraction of what we pay for them

So now we're bitching about a larger & nicer stadium

Can't make the game this week. At this point I'm hoping I'll actually find somebody I can give them to.

If serious, email me jpd4lsu@gmail.com. I know a student who would love to take his preggo wife to a game before she gets too far along.

Don't tell that to the sunshine pumpers who want to keep winning the arms race. They love talking about stuff like "funding a successful program" as long as it's somebody else's money.

Let me be honest. As an alumnus and season ticket holder for 23 years, I no longer give two shits about "funding a successful program." With kids at LSU, I am much more interested in funding a quality education for them and future students.

Then why don't you just use your season tickets instead of scalp them? Pretty simple solution. Sorry LSU is screwing up your profit you want to make off them.

(Except for 1-2 games per year max, and this year it may just be one game.)

Bama and Ole Miss will both be huge games

Then honestly, give up your tix and make donations to LSU in other direct ways.

Easy solution and win/win

We're closer to the end of the line than you think. One of the new suites in the South Endzone Expansion didn't sell this year. The waiting list for season tickets is almost completely exhausted. Just wait and see what happens if we have just a couple of consecutive mediocre seasons.

So by your logic, LSU should play in a small stadium so you can get an extra $20 for a ticket you can't use once a season....

So what you're saying is that 0.00066% of tickets are for sale and it's a big deal?

Maybe if that number were 6,600 we'd have a problem.

Did the same. Have ended up sitting in the west stadium club for the games I have attended and won't even hit 50% of my former season ticket cost. Don't think I will get back into season tickets until the kids are old enough to goto (and enjoy) the game.

This would have been a free ticket type game either way

Exactly. Although the last time we played UK in BR it was a, 11:00 kick, UK has never been a big draw and tickets have always been plentiful.

If you pay face value for a ticket to this game, you should be slapped with a leather glove
