God Lives Underwater is one of those bands whose music sounds like if it came out today it would sound relevant and new. Any other bands like that?

JW and I saw Jawbox and the Poster Children together in '95 in Lafayette... I think the place was called Metropolis?!?

I drove from NOLA to Lafayette for that show. I believe a guy in the crowd got too close to the band while dancing and got his forehead cut on a tuning peg from a guitar. I don't remember during which band's set it happened. I vaguely recall the guy in the bathroom being attended to by one of the band members.

It's hard because the 90s were a peak time for overrated bands.

I always felt like Tesla was underrated though they were 80s and 90s also. Their biggest hits Love Song and Signs are probably their worst songs. They had some very quality music that didn't get radio time.
