3k yard passer, 1k rusher and 2 1k receivers.

Who else has done that?

So becuase you had two elite players you can just lump that third guy in there with the other two and that beats 4 of the best offensive players in LSU history?

the whole point is that it's the sum of the parts.

manziel/winston >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> mett
hill >>>>>> whoever
evans barely > obj. not sure where benjamin falls here.

You're mistaking a really good defense for a great offense.

Not only is that ironic but it also is wrong, FSU had one of the best offenses in CFB last year

I don't think people realize how great Hill's season was last year.

And couple that with 2 1k WRs and a good QB.

How the frick is that laughable?

I'm not even an lsu homer

Wasn't Rocket already gone with Mirer?

He was Tony Rice's guy I thought and left in 90 after the Orange Bowl.

1990 Mirer was the QB , Rocket WR, Watters/Bus were the RBs.

I'd take Sexy Rexy, Earnest Graham, Reche Caldwell/Jabar Gaffney over LSU's 4 guys all day

Which Hurricane combo?

I wanted to use one of them in original post but I was not sure if Bratton was as great of RB or if Dorsey was on level of those other QB's.

Not saying they didnt' have a good offense, but they played crappy defenses all year long. They won the championship b/c of their defense more than their offense.

It's not that LSU's combo isn't good, cause they were. It's the fact that you have posters in here saying that it'd be hard to beat, or that you can't. I don't think they'd even be top10 over the last 20 or so years.
