Saints winning the SB
TCU winning the Rose Bowl

and from my early childhood: aftermath of airplane going down in the Potomac River in winter

ETA:

Above list excluding 9/11 of course. Also - Another poster just reminded me of the Joe Theisman leg break. The thought of that noise sickens me a little to this day.

Watching the second plane hit on 9/11 was pretty surreal. I got a chill down my spine as I came to the realization that it was intentional. Another one was watching the live footage of the Japan tsunami in 2011, watching people and cars try and outrun the walls of water.

My dad always says watching the Challenger explode was the most unforgettable live TV moment for him.

My dad says the same. So much excitement turned to horror and sadness. God bless

See, it is stupid comments like that why I rarely post. Plain ignorance. I got tired of explaining what happened and trying to correct misinformation spread by posters who have heard half truths and lies.

But, you are free to believe what you want if that makes you feel better and sleep at night. Or make you think something like that won't happen to any kids you know.

Anyway...I won't hijack the thread. Back to lurking I go.

PS- The Challenger would have been nuts but I was in class and didn't see it live. The home video of it is pretty awesome as well.

On a less serious note Mike Ditka dozing off in the middle of Sunday NFL Countdown. It really cracked me up.

Gunshot to the head after a high speed chase on Fox News. They we're live from the chopper and the dude pulled out a gun and shot himself before they could pull away.

He does. He's my friend. I'll let him handle that part. Eta. I forgot he made a handle with his real name.

Heck...I gave him my parking pass to the New Mexico State game.

For the record, my dad's shooting did not occur live on television, but it was shown live on the news that night.

Preesh the pass my man! Was a good one to bring the kids too. Let me know if you get anything for Kentucky
