I say they are people with low IQs that are easily manipulated, they are even worse than people who obsess over ISIS. Upvote if you agree!

People in Liberia who are not worried about Ebola are kooks.
ER Docs who are not worried about Ebola are kooks.
People quarantined in the Dallas Apartment Complex who are not worried about Ebola are kooks.

When it was swine flu 5 or 6 years ago, it was Obama and big government trying to control your body with unneeded shots. Fast forward to today and he "the blood is on his hands" of something that will most likely amount to nothing.

While I'm not worried about it, I don't think those that are are retards. Remember, Obama said it was extremely unlikely it would make it to our shores. That was , in a way, retarded if you will. Fear of Ebola spreading is no more retarded than those who scream the sky is falling because of global warming.

Our hospital sent out mass emails on it. Are they all kooks with low IQs?

Mostly true.
Its a pretty fricking serious disease.
I don't think people understand there are exacerbating factors in Liberia making it much worse than it will be here.

Some people may be worried because they can be easily manipulated and lack the ability to think critically. Others may be worried because they have generalized anxiety, phobias, and OCD (among other anxiety-based conditions). Others may be worried because they are actually at-risk (paramedics, doctors, those that may have had contact). So while many may have cognitive deficits, others have different reasons altogether but don't have cognitive deficits. It's usually problematic to generalize like this.

People who watch the news and freak out over anything spouted on there are the types who either end up in trains or else coralling people into them.

Some kooks, some easily panicked, some low information types.

The only things i worry about are the things I think I can control. Job, bills, relationship etc. odrama, libtards, Muslim killers all piss me off but doesn't effect my day to day

False.
Nothing wrong with being a little worried about a (relative) unknown. I do think there is some exaggeration and embellishment, but thats the media we live with today. Gotta sell papers and get clicks.

There is a difference between people worried about catching Ebola themselves and those who are upset about a government whose actions lead to even 1 American death (or sickness) by a disease that should not be here.

Downvote.
I'm worried in the sense that I took microbiology and history and understand how there is a propensity for an occasional "plague" that thins the human herd and how it is usually accomplished . My Gramps lost between 1/10th of his grade school class in 1918-1920 to just such a thing. It killed approx. 50 million people globally.
But concerned would be the word that applies to me and I imagine most people. I'm concerned that the economy is bad, and that I don't eat enough vegetables. I'm concerned that Pimp Jr's math tutor isn't helping him.
As for Isis, the same thing. I'm concerned that the centuries-old Islamic Death Cult has their sword out again and that the reaction of The Liberal Chattering Class is to lecture us on our need "not to worry about it".
There are those who wish not to debate issues honestly so they use words like "obsess". If you aren't talking about ISIS and Ebola imho, you are much more likely in fact to be a low-information-type. Why minimize the major global political movement of our time (Islamism), particularly when it wants to kill us? Why minimize Ebola when it has an astronomical mortality rate and is just this month appearing in our country?
I think people understand the odds of being struck by lightning, beheaded by a sexually-frustrated loser in some desert and dying of Ebola in their city in America. I applaud them for being curious enough to have even heard of either Ebola or ISIL, since not many low information types have.
