GG is a troll. And bonus points to you for not linking a GG article.

But, LF's production, so far, has been good, all factors considered. And, better yet, I see this offense seriously picking up steam with Harris getting more reps. Expect the running game to become more productive with Harris' arm and feet at work in the backfield.

totally agree....the pieces are in place now....just hoping for the best!!

He's a giant a-hole with an agenda.

Were you looking for something beyond that?

This is ridiculous, especially from a team that wants to ram the ball down your throat. He's basically playing a half a game. Now that Hilliard has fumbled, we may finally put our best running back on the field first.
You do realize when you go three and out all the time no one gets a lot of carries, and LF has more than Hilliard

Well duh!!!!!
1. He's only averaging a little over 11 carries a game
2. The O-line hasn't exactly been opening up gaping holes
3. The scheme hasn't exactly been conducive to big yds being gained
4. LF, by his own admission, hasn't been overly patient in looking for holes

What is GGs problem?????

It is no coincidence that he gets his first 100 yd game with Harris opening up the offense. "#2 & 3" are also solved by spreading the O line.

We don't have SHSU and NMSU there to pad stats anymore, so I don't think you will see any backs YPC increase, they may get more chances as we string some drives together, and that is great for everyones numbers

Guy gets like 8-10 carries a game until last week and is expected to put up unreal numbers with those carries. You give him 20 carries a game with some blocking, and he will give you over 100 each time.

The only number that is lacking is carries.

It was on the front page of the sports this morning. What can I say, curiosity got the best of me.

Imo kickoff return yardage shouldn't be tallied in "all purpose" yards. It's misleading.

Completely agree.

I've been saying this for years. If your defense is awful and you give up 70 points, and just make average kickoff returns, a player can pile up a ton of "all purpose" yards. Very misleading.

Only because Hilliard fumbled last Saturday. Hopefully he can get around 15-18 carries going forward.

uh, any decent RB could do that if you give him big holes and 20 carries.

What we want to see from LF is something "special" like all the LF pumpers were promising. A couple times per game, turn a 5 yard run into 15. Turn 15 into 30. Juke a guy out of his socks or run a guy over and take a long one to the house.

Standard runs through big holes are fine, but I've been told for months that LF was special, so I'm still looking for the spectacular.

Nope you're ridiculously wrong. With Harris and the offense spreading out more, it means less bodies at the line which means more field before initial contact. Also with Harris as a more dangerous run option, it makes the zone and speed option better.

Watch how Braxton Miller and Carlos Hyde, or Nick Marshall and Tre Mason ran it last year.
