After Clayton wins the cy young this year, that staff will have 11 with everyone having one

I'm not an Astros fan but if I was id have to go with mike Scott over Johnson, Clemens or petite who only played there a handful of years or less. He was filthy.

A lot of people in here are forgetting all about Lima time!

No way an all-time astros staff should leave off JR Richard.

Jose Rijio & Johnny Cueto are pretty much the only 2 post WWII starting pitchers that would be on the list. Maybe you could make a case for Mario Soto.
The Reds would rely on the lineup & the bullpen
Randy Myers
John Franco
Aroldis Chapman
Danny Graves
Rob Dibble
Norm Charlton
Jeff Brantley

Rangers (remember we don't have much in terms of pitching):
Starters:
Nolan Ryan
Gaylord Perry
Charlie Hough
Yu Darvish (pre-injury causing Japanese Fade version)
Ferguson Jenkins (1974 version, still holds club record for most wins in a season)
Bullpen:
Jim Kern
Sparky Lyle
Alexi Ogando (7th inning version, not starter version that can't stay healthy)
Joe Nathan
Neftali Feliz (2010 ROY version, not the current version that can only throw one pitch, and not that well)

sms--You have Dean as #1 or Gibson as #1?
Posted on 9/24/14 at 10:27 am to Quidam65
Gibson since he was best athlete in 60's and won't burn bench
