Sound like she is doing you a favor. If you don't want this favor anymore go through your insurance. Simple as that

This.

I was rear-ended a few years back and I got three quotes to fix the bumper/trunk, once the guy saw the quotes, he just called his insurance and they cut me a check.

you can buy that tail light for $100. The second quote show just labor on the bumper, but the are replacing the step cover. might be part of the process, but seems weird

if you are concerned, send the pictures to a shop for a quick quote.

So you've damaged property and gave the owner grief over paying for it? I'll just make the insurance claim if you ever run into me instead of trying to do you a favor.

I wouldn't pay.

Did you get a police report?

Does she have your insurance or license info?
If not, F-her.

I would say $200 for a new tailight (at a shop, $55 on eBay)
then touch up the bumper.

So when can we go ahead and sign the papers for the OT to adopt your family.

We're practically there anyway. We've helped you in your love life, how to handle your son and his needs, emotions, and future, and now even more stuff!

Remove/install and painting have to be done.

Probably what it costs. Would have gone through insurance, probably still should.

I haven't read everything but it looks like you aren't paying for new glass, but the labor to remove the glass to fix the rear quarter panel.

1100 still seems high.

I have a 2005 Grand Cherokee and had almost the exact same repairs done after some trick hit my parked car...

Needed a new tail light, and had to have my bumper repaired and repainted.

Took 4 days and cost right at $640.00

Yep, brakes gave out on an old truck we used around the camp when I was driving it to the store to get gas in it.

Nope, I just bit the bullet and paid for the ridiculous quote he got.
I was doing maybe 15mph at the point of impact when I hit his rear bumper corner. Damaged the bumper and busted the taillight. a-hole got a quote to replace the bumper, taillight, rear quarter panel and paint his piece of shite. I never said anything because we didn't report it. The old camp truck didn't have any paperwork or ins on it.

So you literally did everything wrong you could possibly do, including driving an out of order vehicle without insurance, and you're mad at that guy for putting yourself over a barrel? Seems legit

Meh

Too bad it wasn't a dude or you could have just given him a BJ and been on your way.

Just let your insurance company deal with her. If you pay for her property damage out of pocket, you'll be pretty mad if/when she later makes a claim for personal injuries.

It's a 2006 Kia Sedona for christssake, you were lucky it wasn't chock full of potential personal injury victims.

Pay the money ($1,100.00) and move on and learn how to tie a tie.
